Business Analyst - Hospital Operations

Job Description - Program Manager / Business Analyst Location: Mumbai Industry: Healthcare / Hospitals Experience: 4-8 years Employment Type: Full-time About The Role We are looking for a Program Manager / Business Analyst to support the hospital's Mumbai operations through structured program management, business analysis, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination. The role will work closely with leadership and functional teams to identify operational gaps, analyze business performance, improve processes, and drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with hospital leadership to drive key operational and business initiatives • Track progress of strategic programs and ensure timely execution • Analyze hospital performance across key operational and business metrics • Prepare dashboards, MIS, and management reports for leadership review • Analyze revenue, patient volumes, occupancy, collections, referral trends, and other relevant KPIs • Identify operational gaps and opportunities for process improvement • Conduct data analysis and convert business data into actionable insights • Coordinate with clinical, operations, finance, HR, TPA, marketing, and other teams for cross-functional initiatives • Define project timelines, milestones, owners, and deliverables • Track action items and ensure closure within agreed timelines • Support implementation of new processes, systems, and operational initiatives • Develop SOPs, process maps, trackers, and business review formats where required • Conduct periodic performance reviews and highlight deviations from targets • Support leadership in decision-making through data-backed analysis • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and proactively escalate them • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across hospital operations Key Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills • Experience in preparing MIS, dashboards, and management presentations • Strong project/program management capabilities • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to work with cross-functional teams • Strong attention to detail and ownership • Ability to translate data into clear business insights Preferred Background Candidates with experience in hospital/healthcare operations, management consulting, business analytics, program management, healthcare strategy, or business analysis will be preferred. Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other data-analysis tools will be an advantage.
