Django Backend Developer (2+ Year of Experience)

We're building something incredibly exciting at Aforro™, and we're looking for a Backend Developer who wants to build products from the ground up — not just work on small pieces of an existing system. You'll be working closely with the founding and engineering team to build the backend for our retailer-first quick-commerce platform, powering everything from inventory and procurement to billing, orders, settlements and retailer operations. What we're looking for We're specifically looking for someone who has a strong understanding of: • Python & Django • REST APIs and backend architecture • Database design and PostgreSQL • System design fundamentals • Writing clean, maintainable and scalable code • Designing reliable business logic and workflows • Authentication, permissions and API security • Debugging and solving backend problems independently What you'll do • Build and maintain backend systems using Django • Design APIs and database structures for new features • Work on complex workflows across inventory, orders, billing, procurement and settlements • Take ownership of backend features from design → development → testing → deployment • Work closely with frontend, mobile and product teams to build complete features Must-haves ⚡ 2+ years of relevant industry experience 🐍 Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django 🗄️ Good understanding of databases and PostgreSQL 🔌 Experience building production-grade REST APIs 🧠 Strong fundamentals in system design and backend architecture 📍 On-site | HSR Layout, Bengaluru 🚀 Immediate joiners only
