Senior Systems Analyst (.NET / SQL Server / Power BI)

About the Role Applix is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise business applications for a global client. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET application development, SQL Server administration, Power BI, and enterprise application support. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving production issues, implementing business requirements, and ensuring reliable application performance while following ITIL best practices. Key Responsibilities • Support and maintain critical enterprise applications used across multiple business regions. • Design, develop, and enhance applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. • Implement business requirements including Epics, Features, and User Stories. • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Business Intelligence tools. • Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases. • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and resolve application defects. • Create and execute unit test plans and support system integration testing. • Collaborate with business users, architects, designers, QA teams, and external vendors. • Configure enterprise applications and participate in system administration activities. • Maintain technical documentation and ensure system knowledge is up to date. • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, SLA commitments, and change management procedures. • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and development processes. • Participate in small to medium-sized enhancement projects and production support initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. • Minimum 4+ years of experience in application development and enterprise application support. • Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. Technical Skills • Strong expertise in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core. • Experience with ASP.NET MVC/Web API. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and database management. • Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. • Experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools. • Understanding of enterprise application hosting environments. • Knowledge of software configuration and deployment processes. • Experience with ITIL processes, Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Requests. • Experience with version control systems (Git/Azure DevOps/TFS). Soft Skills • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative global teams. • Strong documentation skills. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Leasing, Banking, Financial Services, or Financial Institutions. • Exposure to enterprise ERP or leasing platforms. • Experience working with international teams. • Willingness to travel for business requirements when needed. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
