Role Description: We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for a Engineer (Civil) to work on our water & wastewater projects the UK region from our Design Centres in India. Role Accountabilities: • Independently undertake engineering design, analysis, calculations, modelling, reports, specifications, and technical documentation for water and wastewater treatment works, network/pipelines etc based projects. • Apply relevant codes, standards, regulations, and best practices in all project deliverables. • Deliver work to agreed quality, schedule, and budget requirements. • Solve moderately complex technical challenges and propose practical engineering solutions. • Support project leads in managing technical risks, assumptions, and design decisions • Ensure compliance with Arcadis quality procedures, management systems, and project requirements. • Perform self-checks and participate in technical reviews and quality assurance processes. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization of engineering processes. • Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation • Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to Graduate and Level 5 Engineers. • Review and check junior team members' work where delegated. • Contribute to technical training, knowledge sharing, and capability development initiatives. • Promote a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture. • Liaise effectively with project teams, clients, contractors, and other disciplines. • Communicate technical concepts clearly through reports, presentations, and meetings. • Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Contribute innovative ideas that enhance efficiency, quality, and project outcomes. • Champion safe-by-design principles in all engineering activities. • Comply with Arcadis Health, Safety, Environment, and Wellbeing requirements. Qualifications & Experience: • B.E / Post-Graduation in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Post Graduation will be added advantage. • 3 - 7 years relevant experience in design of Civil Non infrastructure like WTP, STP, ETP, CSO,network design, hydraulic design etc. • Registered or accredited professional will be plus. Required Competencies • Knowledge of relevant International Standards • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal • Work experience in United Kingdon or any other European countries • Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills. • Strong command of BIM / digital / data analytics software as applicable. • Demonstrated delivery acumen. Experience in civil design, specifications, drawings, asset management and BIM models for large scale projects related to, • Intakes and outfalls, • Treatment plants, • Water and wastewater conveyance systems, • Pumping stations and other related structures, • Site Civil drawings • Drainage systems, • Hydraulic design related to above. • CDM • Experience of delivering designs and reports at all stages from concept through to final project and construction delivery. Software Knowledge: • Experience on working with the following design software’s is required. • BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloude, Revit, Civil 3D, HADES, GIS on project design is added advantage.
