Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)

Job Vacancy: Civil Site Engineer – Immediate Joining Company: M/s Azad Rolling Shutters & Construction Job Location: Ambernath MIDC, Ambernath, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-time, Contractual (6–12 months, extendable) Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience Job Description We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Site Engineer to supervise and monitor ongoing civil construction work at our industrial factory building project in Ambernath MIDC. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities, including excavation, foundation, PCC, RCC, masonry, plastering and finishing. • Coordinate with contractors, labourers, architects and consultants. • Perform quality checks at every stage, including reinforcement bar size and spacing, concrete cover, shuttering, concreting and curing. • Conduct and maintain records of site quality tests, including concrete slump tests, cube sampling/testing and checks on cement, sand, aggregates and steel. • Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, project specifications and applicable IS codes. • Identify and report defective work or substandard materials and coordinate corrective action before proceeding. • Check site measurements, quantities, material consumption and workmanship. • Verify contractor measurements and bills before approval. • Monitor site safety and progress against the project schedule. • Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), quality records, material registers and inspection reports. • Coordinate site inspections and resolve technical issues in consultation with the concerned professionals. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant civil construction site experience. • Practical knowledge of foundation, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry and plastering. • Knowledge of construction quality control, concrete testing procedures and applicable IS codes. • Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and check site measurements. • Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ and contractor bill verification. • Good coordination, problem-solving and site management skills. • Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days preferred. • Experience in industrial buildings or factory construction will be an added advantage. Working Hours • Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. • Sunday and public holiday attendance may be required depending on site requirements.
