Sr. Civil Engineer

Hiring: Senior Civil Engineer – Residential Projects Company: Balar Builders Location: Vapi, Gujarat Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5–8 Years Salary: ₹35,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and expertise. Job Summary Balar Builders is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in residential building construction. The candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, supervising RCC and finishing works, coordinating with contractors, maintaining construction quality, and ensuring timely project completion. Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise daily construction activities for residential building projects. • Oversee excavation, foundation, RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, painting, and finishing works. • Ensure construction activities comply with approved architectural and structural drawings. • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors. • Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedules. • Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure proper workmanship at every stage. • Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete pouring, curing, and other critical construction activities. • Monitor material requirements, consumption, labour productivity, and site resources. • Review BOQs, material estimates, and construction requirements to minimise wastage. • Identify and resolve technical issues arising during site execution. • Ensure proper waterproofing, plumbing coordination, and finishing quality. • Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and material records. • Ensure compliance with construction safety practices and applicable building regulations. • Coordinate snagging, rectification, and handover activities before project completion. Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. • 5–8 years of relevant experience in residential building construction. • Strong knowledge of RCC structures, foundations, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works. • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. • Experience in contractor handling, quality control, material management, and site planning. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel. • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to independently manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
