Product Manager / Associate Product Manager — Growth & Monetization

NO REMOTE/ WFH Experience: 1–3 Years About the Role We're looking for a PM or Associate PM (2–4 years experience) who has actually run a subscription or monetization funnel for a regional-language Indian consumer app, and ideally has hands-on exposure to UPI/payments, autopay, or D2C commerce. This is not a "manage the backlog" role — you'll own outcomes end-to-end across our app portfolio and D2C storefront: pricing experiments, funnel diagnosis, content/lifecycle strategy, and payments and checkout decisions, working directly with our founders. What You'll Own • Subscription growth & monetization across our consumer apps — pricing experiments, trial-to-paid conversion, renewal and dunning recovery • Funnel diagnosis in Mixpanel — acquisition, trial engagement, renewal health by payment gateway, payment failure recovery, and cancellation/dunning funnels; translating raw event data into clear "here's what to fix" recommendations • Regional-language content & lifecycle strategy — working with Hindi (and ideally other regional language) cohorts to identify what drives activation, retention, and willingness to pay • D2C commerce growth — ad creative testing, checkout and payment-method decisions, conversion rate optimization, and exploring autopay/subscription options for repeat purchase • Payments & autopay strategy — working with gateways (we currently use Juspay and Razorpay), understanding renewal success rates by gateway, and improving payment recovery • Cross-functional execution — writing PRDs, running sprints in Jira, and working directly with founders (product approvals go through our co-founders) to ship fast What We're Looking For • 2–4 years of PM/APM experience, ideally with at least one stint owning a subscription or monetization product end-to-end (not just supporting it) • Demonstrated experience with a Hindi or regional-language Indian consumer app — you understand that what works for an English-first SaaS audience often doesn't translate directly to Tier 2/3, Hindi-speaking users • Hands-on funnel and pricing experimentation — you can design a pricing test, explain how you avoided confounding variables (e.g., channel mix, region, device tier), and pick the right north-star metric (not just raw conversion %) Payments/D2C exposure — UPI flows, KYC, checkout optimization, COD vs. prepaid trade-offs, or payment gateway performance comparison • Strong with analytics tools — Mixpanel required (funnel construction, event taxonomy, cohort analysis); familiarity with SQL/BigQuery, Google Analytics, or similar is a plus • Comfortable working in a lean, early-stage environment — you'll be deciding things hands-on (testing ad creatives yourself, reviewing checkout flows) rather than managing a large team • Bonus: experience with multilingual content pipelines, AI/automation tools (e.g., GPT-based content generation), or D2C storefront management Tools You'll Use Mixpanel, Jira, Google Drive/Sheets, Shopify, Firebase, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Notion, Google Play Console, Juspay/Razorpay dashboards Compensation & Level This role can be leveled as PM or Associate PM depending on experience — CTC up to ₹16 LPA. We're prioritizing candidates who've done this specific kind of work (regional-language subscription growth + payments/D2C) over pure years of experience or brand-name pedigree.
