Company: BURAK METERING PRIVATE LIMITED Job Location: India Employment Type: Full-time Salary: 1.8L3L a year Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Burak Metering Pvt. Ltd. in Thane, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications, APIs, and database systems, collaborating closely with frontend developers to create secure and high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities A. Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code. Implement business logic and application functionality. Debug and resolve backend issues. B. Database Management Design and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Write optimized database queries and manage CRUD operations. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues. C. Technologies & Frameworks Work with Node.js and Express.js for backend development. Develop API integrations with frontend applications. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms. Use Git and GitHub for version control. Test APIs using Postman or similar tools. D. Security & Performance Implement backend security best practices. Handle error management, validation, and data protection. Optimize application performance and scalability. Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and technical issues. E. Team Collaboration Coordinate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Understand project requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines. Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards. Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js. Experience with Express.js or similar backend frameworks. Good understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Knowledge of Git and GitHub. Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security. Familiarity with asynchronous programming and error handling. Knowledge of deployment and cloud platforms is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. BCA / MCA / B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
