Product Manager – PMS Reporting (Clearwater Analytics) Job Summary Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of reporting capabilities within our Portfolio Management System (PMS) platform. This role will drive the evolution of reporting functionality across Clearwater's front-to-back investment management solutions, supporting portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, and institutional investors globally. As a Product Manager, you will own the product roadmap, backlog, requirements definition, testing, and deployment of reporting features that enable clients to gain deeper insights into their portfolios, investments, and operational workflows. You will work closely with engineering, product, client-facing teams, and customers to deliver scalable, high-impact reporting solutions that enhance user experience and drive business value. The ideal candidate combines strong product management discipline, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of investment management workflows and reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Delivery • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for PMS Reporting capabilities within the Clearwater platform. • Design and enhance reporting functionality across Clearwater's investment management ecosystem, including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Investment Accounting, and related solutions. • Translate client, market, and business requirements into clear product specifications and development priorities. • Partner closely with software engineers, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the product development lifecycle. • Define acceptance criteria and participate in testing, validation, and successful deployment of new capabilities. • Measure the success and adoption of released features using client feedback, usage metrics, and business outcomes. • Contribute to broader Clearwater product strategy initiatives and roadmap planning. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration • Engage directly with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and future business needs. • Partner with Sales, Client Success, Account Management, and Implementation teams to develop scalable reporting solutions for strategic opportunities and client engagements. • Collaborate with Product Managers across the Clearwater platform to support reporting requirements spanning investment accounting, portfolio management, risk, compliance, and performance workflows. • Communicate product roadmap updates, feature releases, and strategic direction to key stakeholders. Product Ownership • Serve as the subject matter expert for reporting capabilities within the PMS product suite. • Prioritize enhancements and client requests based on business impact, strategic alignment, and development capacity. • Ensure product decisions are aligned with Clearwater's commitment to delivering scalable, cloud-native investment management solutions. • Drive continuous improvement through client feedback, market insights, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or a technical role within FinTech, investment management, or enterprise software. • Strong understanding of portfolio management, investment operations, reporting, performance measurement, investment accounting, or related financial workflows. • Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile development processes. • Hands-on experience working with Jira and Agile delivery methodologies. • Ability to write detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organizational and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), Investment Accounting, Reporting, or Data Analytics platforms. • Familiarity with SQL, scripting, APIs, or reporting frameworks. • Understanding of cloud-based SaaS products and modern software development practices. • Experience working with institutional asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance firms, or fintech software providers. • Knowledge of data architecture, financial data models, and large-scale reporting solutions.
