REMOTE - Lead Full-Stack Developer (Magento, Laravel, Node.js & AWS)

About Us We are a software development company specializing in Magento, Laravel, Node.js, WordPress, and cloud-based applications. We are looking for a Magento 2 Certified Senior Developer to lead and manage our Magento, Laravel, and Node.js projects, manage AWS infrastructure, and build CI/CD pipelines, using modern AI tools to deliver faster and better. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end Magento 2 (Community & Commerce) projects, from architecture to delivery. • Provide technical leadership for Laravel and Node.js applications, including custom APIs, backend services, and integrations. • Build custom Magento modules, extensions, and APIs; integrate ERP, CRM, payment, and shipping systems. • Optimize speed, caching, indexing, database performance, and security across all platforms. • Manage multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency Magento setups, plus upgrades and security patches. • Design and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM). • Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins) and automate with Docker and Terraform. • Configure Cloudflare, Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch; implement monitoring and disaster recovery. • Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) daily for coding, debugging, code review, testing, and infrastructure work, and validate all AI output before production. • Mentor the team on best practices, including AI-assisted workflows. • Manage WordPress/WooCommerce projects. Requirements • Magento 2 Certified Expert with 7+ years of Magento development experience. • 4+ years of Laravel and PHP development, including REST API design. • 3+ years of Node.js development (Express, NestJS, or similar) for APIs and backend services. • 5+ years of AWS, DevOps, and cloud architecture experience. • Experience with large, high-traffic and multi-store Magento implementations. • Strong PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git, and CI/CD skills. • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) in real projects, and the ability to critically review AI-generated code. • Familiarity with PWA Studio, Hyvä, or headless commerce. • English (MUST). Bonus • Vue.js, Next.js, or React; GraphQL and API-first development. • Experience with microservices, mentoring teams, or building AI-assisted workflows (agents, MCP, automated code review).
