Product Manager, Financial Platform

About the Role Earnifi is building products that help consumers access and manage their money between pay cycles. We're looking for a Product Manager to own execution for our Financial Platform. The financial infrastructure is the heart of our product, and underpins every decision and payment made. This Financial Platform team is responsible for the systems that power how money moves through Earnifi, including payment processing and banking integrations, subscription payments, collections, and account settlement. While customers may never directly interact with many of these systems, they are critical to the reliability, scalability, and economics of our business. You'll work closely with Engineering and cross-functional partners to define requirements, manage priorities, and drive complex initiatives from concept through launch. What You'll Own ● Payment processor integrations ● Banking and card integrations ● Subscription and collections systems ● Transaction processing and settlement workflows ● Internal financial and operational platform capabilities What You'll Do ● Own execution of the Financial Platform roadmap from discovery through launch ● Partner closely with Engineering to define product requirements for backend systems and integrations ● Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories ● Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Support ● Coordinate third-party integrations with banking and payment partners ● Drive projects forward, proactively remove blockers, and keep stakeholders aligned ● Identify edge cases, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency ● Monitor launches, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results What We're Looking For ● 3–6 years of Product Management experience ● Experience working on payments, banking, fintech, subscriptions, financial operations, or other transaction-heavy products ● Experience owning platform products, integrations, or technical workflows ● Comfortable working closely with engineers and discussing APIs, system integrations, and technical tradeoffs ● Strong execution skills with a track record of independently driving complex projects forward ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities ● Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity Nice to Have ● Experience with ACH, card payments, payment processors, or banking integrations ● Experience working with financial transactions, settlement, reconciliation, or ledger systems ● Experience at a fintech or other regulated industry, especially for a US-based product ● SQL or data analysis experience Success in This Role After six months, you will have: ● Successfully delivered multiple complex financial platform initiatives ● Built strong partnerships with Engineering and cross-functional teams ● Become the go-to product owner for Earnifi's financial systems ● Improved the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of our financial platform ● Established yourself as someone who consistently drives projects forward and delivers high-quality execution
