Software Test Engineer Fresher

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with senior team members, support testing activities, and gradually take ownership of assigned tasks. This role is ideal for someone who has a good understanding of OOPS concepts and is eager to learn modern testing techniques and tools. Key Responsibilities Assist in understanding project requirements and preparing test cases Execute manual test cases and document results Support automation testing activities under guidance Identify, log, and track defects Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous learning sessions Gradually handle testing tasks independently as confidence grows Required Skills: Good understanding of OOPS concepts Basic programming knowledge (Java / Python or similar) Understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous): Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman) Knowledge of version control systems (Git) Eligibility: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience .
