The Civil Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and supervision of infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants, and performing site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, assisting with cost estimates and schedules, and recommending technical solutions for stormwater, drainage, and other civil works. The Civil Engineer will also support documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical project requirements. - Experience in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure systems, including drainage design and regulatory compliance. - Professional experience as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in urban environments such as Mumbai. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution. - Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and familiarity with local building codes and standards. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and quality. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with capacity to work on-site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. - Prior experience in site supervision, quantity estimation, and preparation of technical reports is an advantage.
