Internship (with potential to convert to full-time) · 0–3 years experience Experience 0–3 years (freshers welcome) Location Pune, India (Hybrid) — open to remote for strong candidates Reporting To Marketing Lead — Organic Growth Team Individual contributor, part of the organic growth team Function Marketing / Growth Type Internship / Entry-level, full-time About GuavaTrips GuavaTrips (guavatrips.com) is an AI-first personalized travel planning platform helping travelers design and book trips tailored to their preferences. We're building GuavaTrips into a recognizable, trusted travel brand — discovered through search engines, AI assistants, communities, and quality content, rather than through ads alone. Role Summary We're looking for a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Lead in executing GuavaTrips' organic growth activities. This is a coordination-heavy, learn-by-doing role — perfect for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to SEO, digital PR, community marketing, and the emerging world of AI visibility. You'll help keep multiple activities and outreach threads moving, track outcomes, and progressively take on more independent ownership as you learn. Key Responsibilities • Directory & listing coordination: Help identify relevant directories, submit and keep GuavaTrips' listings accurate and up to date. • Forum & community support: Track relevant Quora/Reddit/travel forum threads, draft or support responses, and help build a consistent GuavaTrips presence (guided by the Marketing Lead). • Outreach coordination: Help build and maintain contact lists for travel aggregators, bloggers, partners, journalists, and media outlets; follow up on outreach emails. • Content coordination: Coordinate with freelance writers/partners on guest posts and content placements — tracking deadlines, drafts, approvals, and publishing. • PR & partner support: Assist in coordinating paid PR features, interviews, and partner co-marketing activities (scheduling, follow-ups, asset collection). • Research support: Help research competitors, new channels, and platforms (including startup/AI launch sites) and summarize findings for the Marketing Lead. • Tracking & reporting: Maintain trackers for outreach status, published content, backlinks, and listings; help compile simple weekly/monthly progress reports. • General coordination: Be the point of contact keeping various activities, vendors, and freelancers on schedule so nothing falls through the cracks. Candidate Profile Experience • 0–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, content, or a related area — freshers and those with internship experience are welcome to apply. • Any prior exposure to SEO, content writing, social media, or community management is a plus, but not required. Academic Background • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field. Skills & Traits • Organized: comfortable juggling multiple small tasks and follow-ups without losing track. • Good communicator: clear written English for outreach emails, trackers, and coordination with partners/vendors. • Curious & research-oriented: enjoys looking things up, learning how things work, and following instructions to explore new platforms. • Reliable: follows through on tasks and proactively flags issues rather than letting them slip. • Eager to learn: genuine interest in marketing, travel, or the emerging world of AI-driven search and discovery. • Comfortable with tools: basic proficiency with spreadsheets/Google Workspace; willingness to learn SEO/PR tools on the job.
