Mechanical Engineer PEB ( Heavy Equipment Installation)

Role Description The Mechanical Engineer PEB (Heavy Equipment Installation) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing heavy equipment installation within pre-engineered buildings (PEB), ensuring alignment with mechanical design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with structural and civil teams, overseeing installation activities, and performing inspections to verify quality and compliance. The Mechanical Engineer will also support troubleshooting of mechanical issues, prepare technical documentation and reports, and collaborate with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. The position requires active participation in safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives on site. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core mechanical principles to heavy equipment installation and PEB projects. • Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for developing, reviewing, and optimizing mechanical layouts and equipment interfaces. • Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress reporting for on-site installation projects. • Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities, such as evaluating new equipment technologies and improving installation methods. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. • Hands-on experience with industrial or construction sites involving heavy equipment or PEB structures is highly beneficial. • Knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and best practices for mechanical installation work. • Effective communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and readiness to be present on site in Mumbai. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
