Responsibilities Project Management • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans • Plan and manage project schedules, budgets and resources • Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel while providing technical guidance Installation and Maintenance • Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget and in accordance with required quality standards • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards • Implement preventive maintenance programmes for mechanical systems Quality Assurance and Control • Perform quality control checks on mechanical systems and components • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues during the construction and post-construction phases • Conduct performance tests and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively Documentation and Reporting • Maintain detailed records of designs, installations, inspections and maintenance activities • Prepare and present reports covering project status, system performance and any issues encountered • Ensure documentation remains current and accessible to relevant stakeholders Health and Safety • Ensure all mechanical engineering activities comply with applicable health and safety regulations • Promote a strong onsite safety culture and conduct regular safety audits Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • 6–9 years of hands-on experience at construction sites, covering project execution, site execution, estimation and drawing interpretation for industrial projects • Excellent project management skills, including experience managing large-scale construction projects • Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively • Self-motivated and highly organised approach • Ability to collaborate effectively and perform under pressure • Willingness to work and stay at the construction site as required About the company A multinational company in the engineering and construction industry providing integrated design and construction services.
