Role Description The Civil Engineer for Interior company role at Design & Structure is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The role involves preparing and reviewing civil and interior-related drawings and and coordinating with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation on site. The Civil Engineer will participate in project planning, quantity estimation, and scheduling, while monitoring site progress and ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality norms, and timelines. The role also includes conducting site surveys, inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting renovation and micro-projects, and preparing regular project reports, measurement sheets and documentation for internal teams and clients. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply structural and material knowledge to interior projects. • Skills in Planning and project scheduling, including resource allocation, time management, and progress tracking for micro and turnkey projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. • Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Microsoft word for Billing and BOQ. • Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills, including clear reporting and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams. • Prior experience in interior fit-out, banking or commercial projects, and renovations will be an added advantage.
