Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Cuddalore. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and oversee construction, maintenance, and improvement of Kawman Pharma’s facilities, including buildings, utility systems, and site infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring site work for quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and pharmaceutical industry standards. The role also involves assessing and managing stormwater and drainage systems, supporting project planning and scheduling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, safety, and maintenance. The Civil Engineer will prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and propose improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of the site. Qualifications • Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with the ability to develop practical solutions for industrial and pharmaceutical facilities. • Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects, ideally in manufacturing or similar environments. • Proficiency in Planning, including project scheduling, resource coordination, and budgeting for civil works. • Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and site development to ensure safe and compliant facility operations. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. • Ability to use relevant engineering and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) for design and documentation. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and with multidisciplinary teams. • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial infrastructure projects is an advantage.
