💼 Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineers (Contract Role – 3 Positions) We are seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to support a critical, high-priority project. This is a 4-month contract engagement with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering - 6+ years of experience in product development - Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) for injection molding, sheet metal, stamping, milling/turning - Proficiency in SolidWorks and EPDM (other CAD tools are a plus) - Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products - Understanding of cable assemblies and ECAD/MCAD integration - Exposure to structural and thermal design considerations - Experience with DFX for high-volume production - Familiarity with prototype techniques for design development and verification - Knowledge of UL/IEC standards; experience with UL1741, UL9540 & UL9540A is an advantage - Experience in Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a plus - Clear communication skills (verbal and written) - Exposure to CAE tools is an added advantage 📢 If you or someone in your network meets these requirements and is available for immediate joining, please connect and share profiles to email: info@solitudetech.com
