AI Frontend Engineer Intern

AI is only as useful as the interface people actually open. You'll build that layer: the internal tools, dashboards, and agent interfaces that our operations, growth, and product teams use every day to replace hours of manual work. This is a hands-on building role, not research or prompt-writing. You'll understand each team's problem, design the interface, and ship it end to end using the modern AI stack. Location: Bangalore (Work from Office) Duration: 6 Months + PPO (based on performance) Stipend: INR 25k/month Start: Immediate Responsibilities • Understanding each team's problem, designing the interface, and shipping it end to end, from a quick single-page tool to a full product surface • Designing and building AI-native interfaces: streaming responses, chat and agent UIs, human-in-the-loop review, and citations back to source • Turning ambiguous problems into working products without hand-holding • Wiring up frontends to LLM APIs, internal services, and third-party tools using APIs and webhooks • Owning the whole experience: layout, states, performance, and polish Skills • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with a modern framework (ReactJS, NextJS, or similar), and projects to show for it • Real command of CSS and layout: Tailwind or equivalent, responsive design, component libraries, and a sense for when something looks off • Comfort with state management, API integration, auth flows, and handling loading, empty, and error states properly • Enough backend to be dangerous: REST APIs, webhooks, basic RDBMS and SQL, and tools like Postman • Deep, hands-on knowledge of AI coding tools like Claude (Claude Code), Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and GitHub Copilot • Hands-on with automation and orchestration tools like n8n and Zapier • Working knowledge of MCP servers, connectors, plugins, and skills • Available full-time for 6 months in Bangalore (in-office); graduating within 6 months or already graduated Good to have • Design sense and Figma fluency: you can go from a rough idea to a clean screen without waiting for a designer • Data visualisation with Recharts, D3, or similar, and building dashboards people actually read • Building AI agents, RAG, or multi-step agentic workflows, and the interfaces on top of them • Advanced LLM concepts like harnesses, memory, loops, knowledge graphs, and vector databases • Streaming UIs (SSE, WebSockets), optimistic updates, and performance work on heavy views • Hands-on with open-source AI models (HuggingFace, etc.) • Video generation and editing using generative AI • Low-code/no-code and backend tools like Supabase, Apify, and Airtable Benefits • Certificate of Internship • Competitive compensation • An opportunity to convert the internship to a full-time role • Work in an agile environment on quality problems • Get mentoring from top product managers and the CTO himself Ready to showcase your talents? • Share your projects (GitHub, live links, or otherwise) and the problems you've solved using AI.
