Job Description: Graduate Design Engineer – Electrical / Mechanical Location: Kochi, Kerala Experience: 1+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Industry: MEP / Engineering Consultancy Job Summary We are looking for motivated Graduate Design Engineers in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines with at least 1 year of relevant experience in MEP design. The selected candidates will assist in preparing engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation while working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities • Assist in preparing electrical or mechanical building services designs, layouts, and engineering drawings. • Support design calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of technical schedules and specifications. • Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP. • Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, PHE, Architectural, and Structural teams to resolve design conflicts. • Review drawings and incorporate design revisions and client/consultant comments. • Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations, and project documentation. • Ensure design deliverables comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements. • Support senior engineers in design reviews, BIM coordination, and timely project delivery. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience in MEP design or building services engineering. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP. • Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical building services systems. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Knowledge of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design workflows is an advantage. • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
