Backend Engineer (Python)

Every answer EzyConn gives, every booking it makes and every conversation it hands to a person runs through our backend. You will design, build and run those services, and make the AI parts dependable enough that a business can leave them answering overnight. What you will do • Build and run the Python services behind conversations, the hand-over to people, bookings and billing. • Design PostgreSQL schemas and queries that stay fast as customers grow. • Integrate messaging and payment providers such as WhatsApp, Twilio, Slack and Razorpay, including their webhooks. • Make AI calls dependable: answers drawn from each customer’s own content, sensible limits and clean fallbacks. • Write tests, watch what you ship in production, and fix it when it misbehaves. What you bring • 2 to 5 years of backend development in Python. • Solid PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes and query tuning. • Experience designing REST APIs and handling webhooks. • Background jobs, retries and idempotency. • Comfort debugging live systems from logs and metrics. Nice to have • Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) or other LLM work. • Docker. • Payments or telephony APIs. Work from home, hybrid in Indore if needed.
