Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. This role involves designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for shot blasting machines, shot peening equipment, and painting booths. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, collaborating with production and quality teams, and supporting prototype development and testing. The engineer will optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness, while adhering to relevant standards. The role also includes preparing technical documentation, assisting in troubleshooting design-related issues in the field, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing products. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong foundation skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design. Candidates should possess practical skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial equipment. Candidates should possess proficient Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools). Candidates should possess knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and tolerancing for heavy machinery. Candidates should possess the ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications. Candidates should possess effective collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams on-site. Relevant educational qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience in designing industrial machinery or surface preparation equipment will be an added advantage.
