About the job: • Role: Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js & AWS (Remote) • Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to work on a Full-Time basis. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services for a high-traffic platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, low-latency solutions in a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy Node.js-based microservices using AWS services. Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on security and efficiency. Lead architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure, including EC2, Lambda, and RDS. Monitor system health, debug issues, and implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience with Node.js backend development. Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation. Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS). Knowledge of databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
