We are building scalable B2B and consumer-facing digital platforms for businesses and users to manage rewards, gift cards, transactions and engagement programs through a seamless technology experience. About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer – React.js / Next.js with strong hands-on experience in building modern, responsive and production-grade web applications. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, API integration and modern frontend architecture, with a keen eye for performance, usability and clean UI implementation. You will work closely with our Technical Lead / Full Stack Architect, Backend Developers and UI/UX Designer to build and scale NuSwipe's web platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Develop responsive and scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js - Convert Figma/UI designs into accurate, reusable and responsive interfaces - Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs - Develop reusable components and maintain a clean frontend architecture - Handle authentication, role-based interfaces and protected routes - Manage application state efficiently - Build dashboards, forms, tables, filters and transaction-based interfaces - Optimise applications for speed, performance and responsiveness - Handle API errors, loading states and edge cases properly - Ensure cross-browser and multi-device compatibility - Collaborate with backend developers for API integration - Participate in code reviews, debugging and production issue resolution - Follow Git, branching and code-quality standards Required Skills: ✅ React.js – Strong hands-on experience ✅ Next.js ✅ JavaScript (ES6+) & TypeScript ✅ HTML5 & CSS3 ✅ Responsive Web Design ✅ REST API Integration ✅ State Management – Redux Toolkit / Zustand / similar ✅ React Hooks & Component Lifecycle ✅ Authentication & Protected Routes ✅ Git / GitHub / GitLab ✅ Strong debugging and problem-solving skills ✅ Ability to convert Figma designs into production-ready UI Must Have Skills: - 3–5 years of professional frontend development experience - Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript - Experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications - Strong understanding of REST API integration, responsive design and modern frontend development practices - Positive problem-solving, debugging and communication skills Good to Have: - Tailwind CSS / Material UI / other modern UI libraries - React Query / TanStack Query - SSR / SSG concepts in Next.js - Performance optimisation - WebSockets / real-time applications - Jest / React Testing Library - CI/CD understanding - AWS / Cloud exposure - Basic understanding of frontend security practices • Hands-on experience with Flutter / Dart and cross-platform mobile application development will be a strong advantage. Preferred Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in FinTech, digital gift cards, payments, wallets, rewards & loyalty, e-commerce, marketplaces or transaction-heavy platforms will be preferred. Experience building B2B dashboards, admin panels, payment flows, transaction interfaces or consumer-facing platforms will be an added advantage. Candidates who have experience working across both web applications (React.js / Next.js) and mobile applications (Flutter) will be highly preferred.
