Software Engineer Intern – Python / Odoo (Freshers) | Remote, India 6-month paid internship → full-time role for top performers ABOUT EOXS EOXS builds the ERP platform that steel and metals distributors and service centers use to run their business: inventory, processing, sales, purchasing, and accounting. Our product is built on Python and Odoo, and our clients are real operating companies who depend on it every day. We're a lean engineering team, and we're growing. We're hiring freshers who want to learn fast, ship real code to production, and earn a full-time seat on the team. THE PROGRAM • 6-month paid internship, fully remote • Stipend: ₹[X] per month • You work on live client features and bug fixes from week one, with no dummy projects • At the end of 6 months, we offer full-time Software Engineer roles to the interns who meet the bar • Full-time compensation: ₹[X]–[Y] LPA • Conversion is based on performance and is not guaranteed. We tell you exactly how you're measured (see below) WHAT YOU'LL DO • Build and modify features in the EOXS ERP using Python and the Odoo framework: models, views, business logic, and reports • Fix bugs reported by clients and move them through our pipeline: Review → Sandbox → QA → Live • Write and debug SQL queries against PostgreSQL • Use AI coding tools in your daily work to move faster without cutting corners • Write clear log notes on every task so the team always knows status and blockers • Work closely with senior developers and QA, and learn how the steel distribution business actually runs WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR • B.E./B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or B.Sc. (CS/IT) graduates of [2025/2026], or final-year students available full-time • Solid Python fundamentals: functions, classes, data structures, debugging • Basic SQL: SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY • Comfortable with Git • You can read unfamiliar code and figure out how it works • Clear written communication in English (we are remote, so writing is how we work) • Reliable internet and a laptop you can develop on NICE TO HAVE • Any hands-on Odoo experience (personal project, course, or internship) • PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, or HTML/CSS • A GitHub profile or project you can show us HOW YOU'LL BE EVALUATED FOR FULL-TIME We keep this transparent • Code quality: how often your work passes QA on the first attempt • Ownership: you finish what you pick up, and you flag blockers early • Speed of learning: how quickly you become independent on the codebase • Communication: clear, timely log notes and updates • Reliability: you show up and deliver consistently HOW TO APPLY Apply through LinkedIn.
