Job Description – Civil Project EngineerPosition Civil Project Engineer Industry Construction / Real Estate / Infrastructure Location Udaipur, Rajasthan Department Projects Reporting To Project Manager / Project Head Job Summary The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and monitoring civil construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and as per quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites. • Prepare and monitor project schedules and work plans. • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. • Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. • Verify contractor bills, measurements, and BOQs. • Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery. • Maintain site documentation, DPRs, inspection reports, and project records. • Monitor project costs and assist in budget control. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements. • Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical issues on-site. • Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of construction materials. • Attend client and project review meetings. • Ensure timely completion and successful handover of projects. Qualifications • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred) • Diploma in Civil Engineering may also be considered. Experience • 2–6 years of experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing, structural works, and site execution. • Understanding of BOQ, billing, quantity surveying, and estimation. • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and project documentation. • Familiarity with IS Codes, construction methods, and quality standards. • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
