Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolhapur for a Senior Design Engineer – API 16A Equipment (Blow-Out Preventers). The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of blow-out preventer (BOP) equipment and related components in accordance with API 16A and other relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and drawings; performing design calculations; and reviewing specifications to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, supporting design reviews, addressing design-related production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Design Engineer will also support documentation, compliance activities, and technical communication with internal stakeholders and customers as needed. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with demonstrated experience in product design for high-pressure or safety-critical equipment. • Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including materials, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes relevant to machined and forged components. • Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar 3D/2D design software. • Candidates should possess an understanding of Electrical Engineering principles where applicable to integrated equipment and control systems. • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree or specialization in oil and gas equipment design is an advantage. • Experience with API 16A and other oil and gas industry standards, and prior work on blow-out preventers or similar pressure control equipment is highly beneficial. • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings, conduct design reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to
