We are building a technology-driven online pharmacy platform that simplifies access to complex and high-value medicines through a seamless digital experience. Our technology ecosystem includes customer-facing applications, internal admin platforms, order and payment management systems, integrations with logistics partners, cloud infrastructure and AI-powered solutions. Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in developing scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of solid, hands-on development experience, preferably in a startup or product-based environment. The candidate should be comfortable working across frontend and backend technologies, understanding system architecture, integrating third-party services and taking features from requirement gathering to production deployment. We are looking for someone who can work independently, move quickly, adapt to changing priorities and contribute to building and scaling our technology platform. Key Responsibilities Frontend Development • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js. • Build reusable UI components and scalable frontend architecture. • Work on application performance, page loading speed and Core Web Vitals. • Manage application state using Redux Toolkit, React Query or similar technologies. Backend Development • Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, NestJS or Express.js. • Build secure, scalable and well-structured REST APIs. • Work with databases such as MongoDB and Redis. • Implement authentication, authorisation, role-based access control and API security. • Develop event-driven services, background jobs and messaging workflows. Cloud & Infrastructure • Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, SQS and CloudWatch. • Support application deployment, monitoring and production troubleshooting. • Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows. • Understand application scalability, availability and performance optimisation. Product Development & Integrations • Develop integrations with payment gateways, logistics providers and external platforms. • Work closely with Product, Operations and Business teams to understand requirements. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features, from development to production release. • Identify technical gaps and proactively suggest improvements. AI & Emerging Technologies • Exposure to AI/LLM integrations, chatbot development, RAG or AWS Bedrock will be an added advantage. • Interest in exploring AI-driven solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Required Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. • Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js. • Strong backend development experience using Node.js, NestJS or Express.js. • Experience designing and integrating REST APIs. • Working knowledge of MongoDB and Redis. • Understanding of AWS cloud services and application deployment. • Experience with Git, CI/CD and debugging production issues. • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design and software development principles. • Knowledge of authentication, API security and application performance optimisation. Industry & Experience Preference • 3–4 years of core, hands-on full-stack engineering experience. • Candidates currently based in Bengaluru are preferred. • Prior experience in a startup, early-stage company or product-based organisation is strongly preferred. • Candidates who have built applications or products from scratch will be given preference. • Experience working in lean engineering teams with high individual ownership. • Candidates should have exposure to fast-paced development environments where priorities can change based on business requirements.
