Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Mundra. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee civil works execution, including earthworks, foundations, structural works, roads, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with design and planning teams, supervising contractors and site staff, monitoring project progress, and maintaining quality control through inspections and testing. The role involves reviewing drawings, resolving technical issues, supporting stormwater management and other utility designs, and preparing daily reports and documentation. The Site Civil Engineer will collaborate closely with project management, procurement, and HSE teams to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure projects. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant codes and standards. • Experience working as Civil Engineers on site-based infrastructure projects, preferably in large-scale industrial or utility environments. • Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for civil works. • Knowledge of Stormwater Management systems, surface drainage design, and related hydrology/hydraulic principles. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. • Familiarity with construction drawings, quantity estimation, and basic contract administration. • Understanding of HSE practices and ability to promote a strong safety culture on site. • Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders. • Experience with civil engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic design and analysis software) is an advantage. • Prior experience on industrial, port, or energy infrastructure projects in India will be considered beneficial.
