About Nubra Nubra is a SEBI-registered trading platform built for active traders and investors. Our users watch live market data, place orders, and manage risk in real time, which makes the frontend the product itself, not a wrapper around it. Every number on screen has to be correct, and every interaction has to feel instant. About the Internship We're looking for Frontend Engineering Interns to join our Web team or our Mobile App team, based on your strengths and interests. This is not a shadowing internship. You'll work on real features that ship to real users, with mentorship from experienced engineers throughout. You don't need to know our exact stack yet. We care more about strong fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and how quickly you learn. Interns who perform well during the 6 months will be offered a full-time role at Nubra. Internship Details - Location: Bangalore (Onsite) - Duration: 6 months, with a full-time conversion opportunity based on performance - Start Date: Immediately - Stipend: ₹50,000 - 60,000 per month What You'll Do - Build and ship features on our web platform or mobile apps, such as watchlists, order screens, positions, the option chain, and charts - Learn to work with live market data over WebSockets and build screens that stay smooth as prices update rapidly - Turn Figma designs into clean, responsive UI using our shared component library and design system - Write well-structured code and handle loading, error, and empty states properly - Debug issues, write tests, and learn how to find and fix slow screens - Work with Design, Backend, and Product to understand what you're building and why - Take part in code reviews and learn from detailed feedback What We're Looking For - Pursuing a B.Tech / B.E. / Dual Degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Strong fundamentals in JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS - Hands-on experience with at least one frontend or mobile framework through projects, hackathons, or prior internships. Any of React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin works - Understanding of how a UI talks to a backend: APIs, async calls, and handling responses and errors - Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and writing clean, readable code - Comfort with Git - Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly - Availability for the full 6-month duration, onsite in Bangalore Nice to Have - Projects, open-source contributions, or live apps you can show (GitHub or portfolio link) - Exposure to TypeScript, React, or React Native - Interest in stock markets, trading, or fintech - Experience with charts or data visualization (Chart.js, D3, Highcharts, etc.) - Familiarity with real-time features like WebSockets or live updates - Exposure to testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) What You'll Get - Real ownership of features used by traders every day - Mentorship from experienced engineers and regular feedback - Exposure to how a trading platform works end to end, from market data to order execution - A full-time role, based on your performance during the internship
