Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services. - Develop and maintain microservices-based applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards. - Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. - Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API practices. - Perform unit testing and integration testing. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions. - Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud/container technologies where required. - Prepare technical documentation and maintain API specifications. Required Skills - Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8+. - Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices. - Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture. - Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Experience with Hibernate/JPA. - Knowledge of Maven or Gradle. - Experience with Git and version-control workflows. - Understanding of JUnit/Mockito or similar testing frameworks. - Good understanding of OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and Java fundamentals. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
