Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with strong Quantity Surveying expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate bills of quantities, cost estimates, rate analysis, and measurement works for construction projects. Candidates holding certifications from Bhadani’s QS Institute, NICMAR, or RICS will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from architectural and structural drawings. • Carry out quantity take-off for civil works including earthwork, concrete, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, finishing, and other related items. • Prepare rate analysis and cost estimates for tenders and project budgeting. • Assist in tender documentation, rate comparison, and contractor bill verification. • Measure and certify running account (RA) bills and final bills of contractors. • Maintain quantity records, variation statements, and cost control reports. • Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and project managers for accurate measurements and documentation. • Ensure compliance with IS codes, CPWD/State PWD specifications, and project standards. • Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. • Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying, measurement techniques, and estimation. • Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and specifications. • Strong analytical and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and under deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in Quantity Surveying from Bhadani’s QS Institute • Post-graduate diploma / certification from NICMAR • Membership or certification from RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) • Prior experience in estimation, billing, or quantity surveying roles will be an added advantage. Experience: • 0–3 years / 2–5 years (as per requirement) Note: Candidates with certifications from Bhadani’s QS Institute, NICMAR, or RICS will be given strong preference during shortlisting and selection.
