Backend Developer (Nest JS)

Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable and high-performance backend services using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript. • Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend modules. • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, relationships, and indexes. • Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. • Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, validation, and secure API practices. • Integrate backend APIs with frontend applications and third-party services. • Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues. • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code. • Work closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and project management teams. • Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, technical documentation, and deployments. Required Skills & Qualifications • 4+ years of professional backend development experience. • Strong hands-on experience with NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. • Excellent understanding of NestJS modules, controllers, services, dependency injection, guards, pipes, interceptors, and middleware. • Strong experience in REST API development and Swagger/OpenAPI. • Good knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, transactions, and query optimization. • Experience with TypeORM, Prisma, or similar ORM. • Strong understanding of JWT, RBAC, authentication, authorization, and backend security. • Good understanding of microservices and scalable backend architecture. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Good knowledge of Git and API development tools such as Postman. Preferred Skills • Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, or message queues. • Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD. • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Experience with Jest/unit testing. • Basic understanding of React/Next.js is an advantage. • Experience working on enterprise or high-traffic applications. Education • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
