Project Manager Civil

Salary Package: 50,000 - 60,000 per month Elavathil Constructions is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager – Civil to plan, coordinate, and manage civil construction projects from commencement to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong project management, technical, billing, and team leadership skills, with the ability to ensure timely execution, cost control, quality standards, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities 1. Plan, organize, and manage overall construction project activities from mobilization to completion. 2. Develop project schedules, work plans, resource allocation strategies, and execution timelines. 3. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and departmental engineers. 4. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely completion. 5. Oversee manpower planning, material procurement, machinery utilization, and subcontractor management. 6. Review and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. 7. Supervise project costing, quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, measurement verification, billing, and budget control. 8. Monitor project expenditure, material consumption, labour productivity, and cash flow to minimize costs and wastage. 9. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, contractual conditions, quality standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. 10. Manage client coordination, departmental approvals, work inspections, and resolution of technical and execution-related issues. 11. Review and verify running account bills, final bills, variation statements, and other project-related documentation. 12. Maintain project schedules, progress reports, financial records, material statements, and other essential documentation. 13. Lead, guide, and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and other project personnel to achieve project objectives. 14. Identify project risks and operational challenges and implement effective solutions. 15. Ensure proper project handover, completion documentation, and compliance with contractual obligations, including defect liability requirements. Requirements 1. B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably with experience managing multiple projects or large-scale works. 3. Strong knowledge of project planning, construction execution, quantity surveying, estimation, billing, and cost control. 4. Experience in Kerala Government/PWD works, including departmental procedures, measurement books (MB/EMB), running bills, and final billing, will be a strong advantage. 5. Ability to independently manage projects, lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet project deadlines. 6. Good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, contract conditions, and quality control procedures. 7. Proficiency in , MS Excel, MS Office, and project planning or construction management software. 8. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 9. Willingness to travel and stay at project locations as required.
