Senior Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy (Hydro / Wind Projects) Company: Soham Renewable Energy Position Overview Soham Renewable Energy is looking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with 20+ years of experience in civil construction, specifically for solar and wind renewable energy projects. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for civil works, from design review and planning to on-site execution and project delivery. Experience & Age Criteria Total Experience: Minimum 8+ years in civil construction Relevant Experience: Proven experience in solar / wind / renewable energy projects Age : 40 – 50 years Key Responsibilities · Lead and oversee civil and structural works for solar plants, wind farms, and hydro projects · Solar: foundations, mounting structures, roads, drainage, control rooms, substations · Wind: turbine foundations, access roads, hard standings, crane pads · Hydro: dams, canals, intake structures, penstocks, powerhouses, spillways · Review and approve designs, drawings, BOQs, estimates, and construction methodologies · Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure quality and timelines · Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls · Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations · Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project management teams · Conduct regular site inspections and resolve complex technical challenges · Lead contractor meetings and provide progress reports to senior management · Mentor and guide junior engineers and strengthen site execution teams · Support land development, geotechnical studies, and infrastructure planning for renewable sites Required Skills & Competencies · Strong expertise in civil construction for renewable energy projects · In-depth knowledge of RCC, pile foundations, structural steel, geotechnical works · Experience handling large-scale infrastructure and energy projects · Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills · Ability to manage multiple project sites Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Master’s degree is an added advantage Location Project Sites / HO (as applicable) Reporting To Project Director / Senior Management How to reach me?
