Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Structural Engineer role based in Surat. The Civil Structural Engineer will design and review structural systems for buildings and civil infrastructure, including foundations, frames, and load-bearing components. Daily responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing drawings and design documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, attending site visits, and providing technical support during construction to address design-related queries and resolve issues. The engineer will also assist in project planning, monitoring progress, and contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement of engineering processes. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to practical design challenges. • Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis, including preparation of calculations, design reports, and technical documentation. • Experience with Project Management in an engineering context, including planning tasks, monitoring timelines, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. • Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., IS codes or equivalent), and experience using structural design and analysis software (such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar). • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality in design and execution. • Effective communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, collaborate with site teams, and interact professionally with clients and partners. • Previous experience in building or infrastructure projects is preferred; entry-level candidates with internships or project work in structural design may also be considered.
