Role & Responsibilities PROMAC Advisors Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Junior Site Engineers / Site Engineers Civil PMC for its Project Management Consultancy team. This role combines site inspection, quality checking, progress monitoring, project documentation, measurements, coordination, and office-based project support. It is neither a purely site-supervision role nor a purely office-based role. Civil engineering will remain the candidates primary responsibility. However, the selected engineer must also be willing to study and understand the drawings, specifications, execution requirements, and interfaces of other active packages such as MEP, interiors, PEB, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, faade, waterproofing, and specialist works. Key responsibilities include: • Inspect ongoing civil works against approved drawings, specifications, checklists, approved materials, and quality requirements. • Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, flooring, levels, alignment, curing, finishing, and other assigned activities. • Record site observations through photographs, measurements, checklists, inspection notes, and structured reports. • Identify defective work, deviations, incomplete activities, and visible quality concerns, and report them to the senior engineer. • Follow up on rectification and verify closure of quality observations and snags. • Prepare and update Daily Progress Reports, site-visit reports, quality observations, snag lists, hindrance registers, action trackers, and photographic records. • Maintain drawing registers, testing records, material approval trackers, inspection records, and other project documentation. • Read architectural, structural, and civil drawings and verify that the latest approved revisions are being followed at site. • Study relevant MEP, interior, PEB, and specialist-package drawings sufficiently to understand coordination requirements and their interface with civil works. • Check sleeves, openings, embedded items, service provisions, floor levels, ceiling interfaces, waterproofing requirements, and other multidisciplinary dependencies. • Identify visible drawing conflicts, missing details, and coordination gaps and escalate them to the appropriate senior engineer or consultant. • Record actual site progress and assist in planned-versus-actual tracking, weekly planning, look-ahead schedules, and activity follow-ups. • Monitor the availability of manpower, materials, machinery, drawings, approvals, and work fronts and report constraints affecting progress. • Assist in taking site measurements and preparing or verifying Joint Measurement Records. • Support checking of quantities, BOQs, contractor bills, variations, and supporting documents under senior supervision. • Assist in procurement and material coordination by tracking samples, submissions, approvals, quotations, deliveries, and technical inputs. • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, client representatives, and internal PROMAC team members within the assigned scope. • Attend site and coordination meetings when assigned and prepare clear Minutes of Meeting and action-point trackers. • Observe unsafe conditions or practices and immediately report them to the responsible site personnel and senior management. • Use MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets, email, AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or other project tools as applicable. • Follow PROMACs systems for quality, schedule, cost-control support, coordination, documentation, and project governance. The selected engineer will not have independent authority to approve designs, materials, bills, quantities, rates, variations, commercial commitments, or scope changes. Such matters must be referred to the authorised senior engineer, consultant, or management representative. Preferred Candidate Profile • Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience may apply. • The final designation as Junior Site Engineer or Site Engineer will depend on practical knowledge, relevant experience, site exposure, documentation ability, and interview performance. • Basic understanding of civil construction methods, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and construction sequences. • Basic ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and BOQ documents. • Willingness to study and understand MEP, interiors, PEB, and other specialist packages relevant to the assigned project. • Candidates must not restrict themselves only to civil execution when m
