Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer React / Next.js / Python / Django / Wagtail Experience 3+ years preferred (flexible for strong candidates). Employment Type Full-time Location Remote / Hybrid (depending on project requirements) Role Overview We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer who can work across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure while collaborating effectively with a fast-moving team. The ideal candidate is multilingual in technology stacks, comfortable switching between responsibilities, and capable of owning features end-to-end. Responsibilities ● Build and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js. ● Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and Wagtail. ● Build and manage CMS-driven platforms and custom content workflows. ● Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases and related data workflows. ● Work on deployment pipelines, server management, and DevOps-related tasks. ● Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver features efficiently. ● Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization. ● Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. ● Work with Git-based workflows and version control best practices. ● Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making when required. Required Skills — Frontend ● Strong experience with React and Next.js. ● Good understanding of state management and API integration. ● Understanding of SSR/SSG concepts. ● Experience with responsive UI development. ● Understanding of frontend performance optimization. Required Skills — Backend ● Strong proficiency in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and Wagtail. ● Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend systems. ● Ability to customize and extend CMS functionality using Wagtail. ● Understanding of authentication, permissions, and API security. Required Skills — Database & Infrastructure ● Solid experience with SQL databases and database management. ● Ability to write optimized queries and manage schema changes. ● Familiarity with deployment workflows and Linux servers. ● Experience with Docker/containerized environments. ● Understanding of CI/CD concepts. ● Basic cloud and DevOps experience. Required Skills — Collaboration & Workflow ● Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows. ● Comfortable working in collaborative development environments. ● Good communication and teamwork skills. ● Ability to coordinate and work in sync with frontend/backend teams. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience working on scalable production applications. ● Familiarity with headless CMS architecture. ● Understanding of system design and application architecture. ● Experience with payment integrations, authentication systems, or real-time features is a plus.
