From healthcare technology and children's toys to defence systems, we work across the entire product development lifecycle—from concept to prototype to manufacturing. The Role We're looking for an Engineering Designer (Mechanical) who combines strong engineering fundamentals with creative problem-solving, organisational discipline and a strong sense of ownership. You'll work closely with designers, engineers and vendors to turn concepts into manufacturable products, while ensuring that projects are well planned, properly documented and delivered on time. What You'll Do • Develop parametric 3D models, assemblies and production-ready engineering drawings. • Evaluate structural integrity, materials, mechanisms and manufacturing feasibility. • Build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues and iterate designs. • Plan engineering tasks, deliverables, dependencies and timelines. • Maintain accurate project updates, task trackers, timesheets and documentation in Odoo. • Coordinate team members, CNC machines, 3D printers, materials and vendors to ensure efficient execution. • Proactively communicate progress, follow up on pending actions and resolve blockers. • Take ownership of deliverables from initial concept through final execution. You're a Good Fit If You • Have 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or product development. • Are proficient in parametric CAD, assemblies and engineering drawings. • Understand materials, manufacturing processes and mechanical principles. • Can independently deliver accurate, production-ready designs. • Are organised, systematic and disciplined in planning and documentation. • Take ownership, follow through on commitments and communicate proactively. • Can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision. Important: We value engineering ability as much as execution. We're looking for someone who doesn't just design solutions, but also plans, tracks, coordinates and delivers them reliably.
