About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on Product Development Manager with 4 - 8 years of experience, who can work as an Individual contributor to drive the end-to-end development of innovative hardware products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PCB design, embedded systems, hardware validation, and product testing, along with experience working closely with component vendors and manufacturing partners. Experience in audio products, smart devices, or Soundbox-like products will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop Analog, Digital, Power, and Audio hardware circuits. • Create and validate PCB schematics and layouts for production-ready products. • Develop and optimize PCB layouts while ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability. • Interface with microcontrollers and embedded systems for hardware integration. • Perform prototype bring-up, debugging, hardware validation, and root cause analysis. • Generate and maintain BOMs, design documentation, and engineering change records. • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and production readiness. • Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle. • Work closely with external vendors for component sourcing, prototype development, and production support. • Troubleshoot field issues and implement design improvements based on testing and customer feedback. Required Skills: • Strong experience in PCB design and validation. • Expertise in Analog, Digital, Power, and Audio schematic design. • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and microcontroller interfacing. • Good understanding of PCB layout, BOM management, DFM, and DFT principles. • Experience in prototype debugging, hardware validation, and reliability testing. • Ability to use industry-standard PCB design tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Cadence, or equivalent). • Strong knowledge of electronic components, interfaces, and power management circuits. • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Mandatory Requirements: • Hands-on experience in end-to-end hardware product design and testing. • Experience coordinating with vendors for batteries, speakers, audio modules, and other electronic components. • Prior experience developing audio products, Soundboxes, smart speakers, or similar embedded hardware products. • Understanding of manufacturing processes, component qualification, and supplier management. • Experience supporting products through prototype, pilot, and mass production stages. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Experience working on IoT devices, consumer electronics, or payment hardware products.
