Job purpose: The Mechanical engineer responsibilities comprise preparation of specification, Technical Datasheets, Requisitions for Quotation, Technical queries, Technical Bid Analysis, Purchase Requisitions, and review of Vendor document/drawings for static Equipment as per project requirements. Educational or experience requirements: M.E /B. E (Mechanical) with minimum 10 – 12 years of experience in relevant discipline. Responsibilities: 1. Review / Comment / Approve of Vendor Drawings / Documents for equipment like Pressure Vessels, Filters, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Electric heater, Pig Launchers/Receivers and Other Static Equipment. 2. Prepare / Check / Approve Specifications, Technical Datasheets, Requisitions for Quotation, Technical queries, Technical Bid Analysis, Purchase Requisitions. 3. Prepare / Check/ Approve Engineering drawings such clip drawings, nozzle orientation drawings, etc. 4. Participates in the preparation of equipment lists. 5. Co-ordination with other disciplines, customer, Vendor, and site for interface engineering 6. Vendor monitoring, expediting and manage. 7. Any other relevant activities as defined by the Manager/Lead. DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE 1. Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field. 2. At least 10 - 12 years of experience in Detailed Design in Oil & Gas for Static Equipment. 3. Familiar with International codes & standards like ASME, TEMA, API, WRC. 4. Software knowledge PV Elite / AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS office, PDF, etc. 5. Experience in packages like VRU, GDU-TEG, Flare system, Produce Water Treatment (PWT), etc
