QAQC Civil Engineer

QAQC Civil Engineer We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly skilled QAQC Civil Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Kochi, Kerala. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) plans for various construction projects. • Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to ensure work adheres to project specifications, blueprints, and local building codes. • Monitor and document the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the construction lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to address non-conformities and implement effective corrective actions. • Maintain detailed records, inspection reports, and documentation required for regulatory compliance and project handover. • Perform laboratory and field testing to verify structural integrity and quality standards. • Assist in the preparation of technical project reports and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. • Ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed during quality inspection activities. Qualifications: • Must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum of 3 years to a maximum of 6 years of professional experience in construction quality control and assurance. • Demonstrated proficiency in Civil QAQC practices and construction quality management. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration. • Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively in a formal construction environment.
