Sr. Data Analyst

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Nagpur JobType: full-time We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL, Python, and business analytics skills to work across diverse business domains including supply chain, education, and energy management. This role demands a professional who can quickly grasp new business contexts, apply rigorous analytical thinking, and translate data insights into tangible financial and operational impact. Key Responsibilities • Solve advanced SQL problem statements to extract, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets across varied domains • Build models and dashboards supporting decision-making in supply chain, education, and/or energy management projects • Analyze the financial impact of inventory decisions including holding costs, stockout costs, working capital, and cost-benefit of allocation/MOQ strategies • Calculate and refine Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) based on demand, lead times, and cost trade-offs • Design inventory allocation strategies balancing service levels, cost, and financial efficiency • Analyze new customer acquisition trends, funnel performance, and growth metrics • Translate business problems into structured analytical frameworks and present findings with clear financial/business implications to leadership • Partner with cross-functional and cross-project teams, adapting analytical approach to each domain's context • Write efficient Python scripts for automation, data pipelines, and analysis Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics; supply chain/inventory analytics background preferred • Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization) • Strong Python skills for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy) • Experience translating operational data (e.g., inventory, resource usage) into financial impact analysis (cost, ROI, working capital, efficiency metrics) • High adaptability - proven ability to work across different business domains/projects • Strong business and financial acumen - able to connect data insights to P&L or cost outcomes • Excellent communication skills for presenting to varied stakeholder groups across projects • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) Required Skills SQL | Python | Business Analytics | Supply Chain Analytics | Inventory Analytics | Data Modeling | Dashboarding | Financial Analysis | BI Tools | Adaptability | Business Acumen | Communication | Data Engineering | Cloud Platforms |Statistical Modeling Benefits & Perks • Direct ownership and close collaboration with the founder.
