Product Manager – Online Bond Platform (OBPP) Location: [Mumbai] · Experience: 3–5 years · CTC: ₹7–9 LPA About the role MeraDhan is an Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP) making bond investing simple and accessible for Indian investors. We're looking for a Product Manager to own our platform end to end, from how investors discover bonds to how they place orders, pay, and track their portfolio. This is a hands-on role at a startup. You'll work directly with business, tech, design, operations, and compliance, and your work will ship to real investors quickly. What you'll do - Own the roadmap: Turn business goals, investor needs, and market opportunities into prioritised features and releases for our bond platform. - Define the product: Write PRDs, user stories, user journeys, and acceptance criteria for flows such as bond discovery, onboarding and KYC, RFQ-based order placement, payments, settlement tracking, and portfolio reporting. Maintain and prioritise the backlog. - Drive delivery: Coordinate across business, design, technology, operations, compliance, and external partners such as exchanges, clearing corporations, depositories, and KYC and payment providers to ship on time and with high quality. - Improve performance: Track investor feedback, usage analytics, operational metrics (for example, order and settlement success rates), and business KPIs, and recommend continuous improvements. - Keep us release-ready and compliant: Lead UAT and release planning, manage risks and documentation, communicate with stakeholders, and make sure product changes meet SEBI and exchange requirements applicable to OBPPs. Who we're looking for Experience: 3–5 years in product management or business analysis. We'll give priority in this order: - Strongly preferred: Experience at an OBPP, bond or fixed-income platform, or on the debt desk, debt operations, or fixed-income product team of a broker, bank, or wealth firm - Also relevant: Stock broking, wealth management, mutual fund, or other investment platforms - Open to: Other fintech or BFSI products, if you have strong product fundamentals and a genuine interest in fixed income Domain knowledge: - Bond fundamentals such as coupon, yield to maturity, accrued interest, clean vs dirty price, and credit ratings - How bond transactions work in India, including RFQ platforms, clearing and settlement, and depositories - Digital investment journeys: onboarding, KYC, payments, order management, and portfolio reporting - Working knowledge of SEBI and exchange regulations for OBPPs and stock brokers, or the ability to learn them quickly Product skills: Proven ability to build roadmaps, write PRDs and user stories, prioritise backlogs, design user journeys, and take products from concept to launch. Delivery: Experience working with engineering, UI/UX, operations, compliance, sales, and external partners in Agile teams. Mindset: Investor-focused, data-driven, and commercially aware, with strong stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills. Preferred qualification: MBA or postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, or Technology, with a bachelor's in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
