Openings for Mechanical Design Engineer

Hi We are hiring for Mechanical Design Engineer Experience:1-6 Years Location: Bangalore Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering/Eqivalent. Exeprience: • Mechanical Engineer having 1 - 5 Years of experience in Mechanical design and preferably having experience in simulation, for Li-ion battery pack. Responsibilities: • Prepare mechanical design for Battery pack assembly – Plastic enclosures, sheet metal brackets, Die-cast part, Busbars, Insulation sheet design, sealing, assembly techniques, testing JIG design etc. using SolidWorks. • Estimate effort planning for Mechanical design and development. • Perform design calculations, FE simulations like Resonance, Vibration (Random and Sweep), Mechanical Shock, Thermal Shock, Static Simulations, Crush Analysis, CFD Analysis. • Prepare 2D Manufacturing drawings, conduct tolerance stack-up studies. • Understand the test plans, test cases and testing of battery components to confirm the requirements. • Perform Design optimization simulation and provide design improvement inputs based on simulation results. • Knowledge on any simulation software like Abaqus. (Knowledge on StarCCM / COMSOL is added advantage) • Knowledge on CAD Software preferably SolidWorks. • Knowledge on plastic, sheetmetal, die-casting. • Knowledge on DFM and DFA. • Knowledge on material selection based on various properties. • Preferably have knowledge on GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up and creepage clearance is added advantage. • Knowledge on manufacturing techniques – Injection molding, stamping, machining, etc. • Basic material knowledge on plastics and Sheetmetal.
