Position : Senior Data Modeler & Data Analyst - Data Platform Experience : 8+ Years Client: One of our Prestigious client. Mode of hiring :Full Time /Permanent Location: Remote (Base Location Gurgaon) Notice Period: 0-30 Days (Only Serving notice period) Role Summary As a Senior Data Modeler & Data Analyst, you will support data modernization initiatives across the overall Data Platform and enterprise analytics capabilities across SLC Management. You will work with Investment, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to define data requirements, develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and analyze complex investment datasets. The role requires expertise in data modelling, investment data domains, and stakeholder engagement to translate business needs into scalable, well-structured, analytics-ready data models and platform-aligned data products. Key Accountabilities Data Modelling & Analysis ·Perform detailed data analysis across investment, accounting, and enterprise data platform domains. ·Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to business and technology requirements. ·Create ERD diagrams to clearly represent entities, relationships, keys, and data grain. ·Work with business, technology, architecture, and data engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment on data definitions, modelling approach, and delivery outcomes. Requirements & Governance ·Gather and document business requirements, data mappings, and business rules. ·Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, model documentation, and business definitions. ·Ensure data models align with governance and enterprise standards. Stakeholder Collaboration ·Partner with Investment, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to translate business needs into data solutions. ·Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, and BI teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. Reporting & Insights ·Support Power BI and enterprise reporting datasets. ·Analyze datasets, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to business users. Competencies / Qualifications ·8+ years of experience in Data Modelling, Data Analysis, or Data Warehousing within Asset Management, Investments, Banking, or Financial Services. ·Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling, including facts, dimensions, relationships, and dimensional modelling. ·Good understanding of investment data domains: Transactions, Positions, Securities, Cash, Valuations, and IBOR/ABOR concepts. ·Experience with data mapping, source-to-target analysis, ERD creation, and data model documentation. ·Strong SQL, Excel, and Python skills; experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. ·Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools. ·CFA preferred or pursuing CFA. ·Knowledge of ERwin Data Modeler is preferred. ·Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and business analysis skills. ·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
