Position Overview Gateway 2 Europe is currently seeking two Quality Engineers – Measurement & Patrol on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Hungary. This is a full-time, on-site role within a production environment. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality through inspections, precise measurements, and active monitoring of manufacturing operations. The role also involves identifying quality issues and contributing to corrective and preventive actions. A solid understanding of technical drawings, measurement tools, manufacturing processes, and quality standards is essential for success in this position. Main Responsibilities • Perform inspections of products, components, and manufacturing processes • Carry out dimensional measurements using CMM, vernier calipers, micrometers, and similar tools • Conduct routine patrol inspections across the production floor • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances • Detect and report non-conformities in products or processes • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate measurement records • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues • Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and customer requirements • Contribute to preventive quality-control measures Candidate Profile • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field • Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing quality assurance • Hands-on experience with CMM and other precision measuring instruments • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints • Knowledge of dimensional tolerances and quality standards in manufacturing • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Capability to prepare technical documentation and inspection records • Good command of English • Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Hungary Magyar Kártya and Relocation Support Qualified candidates may receive support in applying for a Magyar Kártya residence permit, which can be granted for up to three years, subject to meeting legal requirements and approval by Hungarian authorities. Gateway 2 Europe will assist throughout the recruitment, documentation, residence permit application, and relocation process, ensuring a smooth transition from selection to onboarding.
