Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer I PA VE/CE COE Join the industry leader to drive value engineering, cost reduction and productivity for PA products. Be part of the PA Value Engineering and Component Engineering Center of Excellence team. In this role, you will work with global product engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality and ISC teams to find practical cost reduction ideas and convert them into savings projects. The focus is to reduce product cost, improve manufacturability, support supply continuity and protect product quality, reliability, certification and customer requirements. The engineer will support both VE NPI and sustaining business through value design optimization, alternate source qualification, component standardization, localization, supplier changes and manufacturing improvement projects across the PA product portfolio.
