Junior Data Analyst, Model Risk Management

Job Purpose The Junior Data Analyst will join the Model Risk Management (MRM) team as part of the global Enterprise Risk Management function that delivers and supports company-wide financial risk model validation and risk governance. The primary role of this position will be to provide advanced data visualization methods for model validations and develop dashboards for executive reporting, thereby translating complex statistical models and data structures into easy-to-understand objects for use within the MRM group and beyond. Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain advanced data visualization tools to enable model validation reports using Tableau • Coordinate with model validators to gather visualization requirements from statistical model outputs, perform data transformations as required for the visuals • Produce monthly validation reports, along with improvements and automations as required for business units • Create self-service tools, including ServiceNow, to develop and maintain business process tracking dashboards • Document data sources, transformation logic, and dashboard designs to support the maintainability of reporting processes Knowledge and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar field • Passionate about data storytelling and visualizations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail • Basic programming knowledge in Python or R • Ability to understand basic statistical models • Creative, innovative, and customer focused attitude • Strong presentation, communication, and business writing skills Preferred • Experience in data visualizations tools like Tableau • Hands-on experience with SQL • Basic understanding of statistics and financial markets
